Bal Harbour, Miami Beach

St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort

Setting

The resort stands in Bal Harbour at the northern end of Miami Beach, right on its own white private beach. The Bal Harbour Beach Path starts at the door, a shaded route running for kilometres, good for a run or a ride on the hotel's complimentary bicycles. Miami International airport is around 30 minutes away.

Rooms & suites

This trip is booked in a Deluxe Ocean View room with a king-size bed at around 59 m². Every room has a terrace facing the Atlantic, looking across the beach to the Miami Beach skyline. Suites, up to the Ocean Palace Suite, are bookable on request.

Pools & beach

Two pools divide the guests: the Resort Pool is set up for families, the Tranquility Pool stays adults-only. On the sand stand the Oceanfront Day Villas, private cabanas with their own bathroom, shower, daybeds and butler service.

Spa & fitness

The Spa at St. Regis covers around 1,300 m² with steam rooms, saunas and treatments up to a 24-carat gold facial. The fitness centre looks out to sea and has a pilates studio of its own; daily classes run from sunrise yoga through meditation to high-intensity training.

Around the hotel

The concierge team arranges private boat trips and kayak or jet-ski outings at the nearby Haulover Sandbar. With the Unscripted Art Museum Access Card, hotel guests enter 17 of Miami's best museums free of charge.

Harbour Island, Bahamas

The Dunmore

Setting

The Dunmore sits on Harbour Island directly on Pink Sands Beach, a stretch of almost five kilometres whose pale pink colour comes from tiny red organisms, foraminifera. The sand stays pleasantly cool, so you walk it barefoot. Dunmore Town, with its pastel houses, is a short ride away by golf cart, the island's main means of transport.

Rooms & cottages

This trip is booked in a Deluxe Ocean View room with a king-size bed at around 37 m². The accommodation is spread across cottages in the garden, brightly furnished with four-poster beds, timber shutters and a great deal of white and pale blue. Suites are bookable on request.

Pool, sport & garden

A quiet outdoor pool lies in the tropical garden away from the sea. Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are free at the beach, as are rackets for the hotel's tennis and paddle courts. The open-air fitness centre in the garden is equipped by Peloton and Technogym.

Around the island

From the house you can arrange rides along the pink sand, boat trips to untouched reefs and to the Sapphire Blue Hole cave. Harbour Island is prime ground for bonefishing in the shallows and for deep-sea fishing for marlin and sailfish. The nearby Valentines Dive Center runs trips to reefs, wrecks and drift dives such as the Current Cut. For sunset, the west side of the island by Dunmore Town's harbour is the place.

What services are included in my trip?

All included services are listed in detail in your trip offer as well as in your booking confirmation.

Can I reserve my seats in advance?

Yes. We take your seating preferences and reserve them in advance for you, subject to availability.

Can I book a suite instead of a double room?

Subject to availability, you can upgrade to a larger suite for an additional charge.

Can I be picked up directly from my doorstep?

Yes. We're happy to arrange a private transfer that picks you up at home and takes you directly to the airport.

Can I book a VIP lounge with direct access to the aircraft?

Yes. We book you a VIP lounge from which you're escorted directly to the aircraft, relaxed and without waiting.

How do I check in online for my flight?

For trips with a scheduled flight, you can usually check in via the airline's website or app. On request, we can handle online check-in for you and send your boarding pass via WhatsApp — where this is technically possible for the respective airline and route.

Can I add a Rail&Fly ticket?

For trips with a scheduled flight, this is possible, usually for an additional charge, unless the airline already includes it.

How much luggage am I allowed to bring?

This varies by airline and fare. We'll let you know the exact free baggage allowance along with your trip offer.

What happens if flight times change?

We inform you immediately by email as soon as we're notified of a change.

PAYMENT & PROTECTION

How much is the deposit?

As a rule, the deposit is 20% of the trip price. For peak-season dates it may be higher; this will be stated in the respective offer. For non-refundable special-fare flight tickets, the deposit may also be higher, as the ticket must be paid in full immediately.

I'd like to fly myself — what do I need?

Send us a copy of your pilot's license. We'll then support you with the license revalidation and inform you about all the documents required for it.

Can we bring our children?

We're happy to book child-friendly hotels suited to your trip with children.

I'm pregnant — can I still travel?

In principle, traveling is possible with an uncomplicated pregnancy up to week 34/35; the second trimester (weeks 14 to 28) is considered ideal. The exact rules vary by airline: many require a medical certificate of fitness to fly from week 28 onward, and most airlines decline to carry passengers from week 36 onward. Feel free to reach out — we'll check individually for your airline and route how your desired trip can be arranged.

Yes. We're available around the clock and here for you should anything not go according to plan during your trip.
