What luxury actually means here
Luxury is an overworked word in this business. For us it means, first of all, no booking portal. Every house in our trips is known, because it has been seen, checked, or reported back on by guests. What we do not know, we do not recommend.
In the air it means first and business class only with airlines in the highest Skytrax categories, and private jets only from certified operators. Which class suits a route is a calculation of distance, party size and time. The private jet is not always the better answer, and we say so.
On the ground it means transfers, reservations and concierge from one hand, so that nothing needs arranging between landing and your room. Your point of contact stays the same from the first conversation until you are home.
